Tre-F BV representative of FAM Belgium and FoodeQ Engineering BV in the Netherlands supplied a large reject line for french-fry processing to optimize the peel/cutting loss after optical sorting.
The french fry lines for straight and crinkle cut french fries with a capacity of approx. 25 tons each are being extended with 2 reject-lines with a capacity of approx. 4 metric tons each.
The cutting of the rejected french fries will be done by means of the FAM “Glide” machines, with 4 machines per line, the feeding, the vibratory transport, and belts, together with the whole installation of this project was executed by FoodeQ Engineering BV from The Netherlands.
Tre-F Foodmachines BV together with FAM and FoodeQ Engineering BV was chosen to install and deliver this “state of the art project”.The FoodeQ vibratory feeding system feeds each Glide individually with the required amount of french fries to be cut by the FAM Glide machines afterwards.
The improvement of yield , technical advantages and other unique features were the main reason we were selected as supplier fort his complete new reject line , which is completely integrated in the existing french-fry lines.
The equipment was delivered and installed in January of 2017,
